Abstract: The target threat assessment for ground surveillance radar based on the target state parameters and the identification results is an issue urgently to be solved. Based on the attribute set of targets, a dynamic Bayesian model of target threat assessment for ground surveillance radar is constructed by using membership function, expert knowledge and Bayesian network. Simulation results show that the variation characteristics of the target threat assessment data conform to the reasoning process of human. The dynamic Bayesian model of target threat assessment can be applied practically in the ground surveillance radars. Multifunction phased array radar can track the target in virtue of adaptive scheduling beam with target threat assessment.
