Evaluation of Air-defense C4ISR System Structure Based on Discrete-event Simulation

Abstract: An approach to evaluate the air-defense C4ISR system in the consideration of relationship between communication network and information is proposed based on the discrete-event simulation. Various kinds of discrete events in the air-defense C4ISR are defined, and the event processing flows, logic relations and common basic data are presented. The evaluation indexes and their computation models are constructed for the air-defense C4ISR system, and some experiments are implemented to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, in which the target detection probabilities and assignment rates of C4ISR systems with tree and network structures are compared in the same scenario.
