Abstract:
To study the influence of the buffer device on initial disturbances, a coupling multibody dynamic model of a missile system was built based on the Lagrange equation. The contact between the missile and launch tube was studied as well in this dynamic model. The simulation results agree with the experimental data. The dynamic responses and the initial disturbances were studied by considering the influences of thrust misalignment and clearance. By comparing the responses of system with and without buffer device, the result indicates that the buffer device could reduce the influence induced by initial disturbances.
