In this paper, digital simulation is introduced in solving the shooting accuracy of the anti?aircraft gun system. Using interior ballistics theory and auto-mechanic analysis, the force acting on the gun system is solved. Then, by establishing and analyzing the finite element and/or multi-body ?model of the anti-aircraft gun system acted on by the shooting force, the system dynamic characteris?tics of the gun system and the muzzle vibration while projectiles escape from the gun tube are solved. Finally, applying theory of external ballistics, the shooting accuracy of the gun is solved. By a systematic simulation of the whole shooting process for the system, factors affecting the shooting ac- curacy can be found, and the method and results can be used to improve the design and analysis of an?ti-aircraft gun systems.

The automatic action of a caseless gun is considered as that of a multi-rigid body system. By considering the matching between the floating body and automatic action, the dynamic model for automatic action of the caseless gun is established by applying the Newton-Euler'S law. The states of motion ,energy transfer relationships , and work characteristics are analysed by using this model, thus a theoretical basis and means of analysis are provided for the design and study of this kind of automatic action.

Based on the theory of potential equilibrium in interior ballistics, the paperinvestigates the actual rules of combustion of deep-deterred oblate spherical powder (OSP) propelling charge in the bore. Closed bomb tests discover that relative progressivity of burning of OSP can be realized if the total thickness of deterred layer thicKness and the deterrent concentration gradient in the propel?lant are well adjusted. Through data reduction of large-caliber gun shooting tests, the location of the point of potential equilibrium and parameters at the point of potential equilibrium are found, fhe actu?al burning gas formation function in the bore is also established. The results show that the theory of potential equilibrium leads a new path for study of the actual rules of combustion of OSP propelling charge within the bore. This investigation can be used a foundation for further studies in finding the interior ballistic solutions of OSP propelling charges corresponding to actual, rules of combustion in the bore.

Two domains of discussion in the modularization of design of a fuze system can be visual?ized ,viz. the function domain and the realization domain. Whether the system is self-conscious or non self—conscious, the functional design is always the basis and precondition for the realization design. In this paper, function modularization design and realization modularization design are discussed for individual cases of subsystems.

Using thin-layer chromatography (TLC)and column chromatography (CC) methods, the in?complete nitration staple by-products from hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (HNIW) synthesized by starting with different nitrating substrates were isolated. These by-products were identified as monoacetylpentanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (MAPNIW) and diacetyltetranitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (DAT- NIW) by FTIR, 1HNMR, MS(CI) and elemental analyses. Sample I,obtained from the nitrolysis of te- traacetyldibenzylhexaazaisowurtzitane (TADBIW) with the one-pot technique, contains about 1% MAP- NIW ,as measured by using high performance liquid chromatography (normalization condition). Sample Ⅱ, obtained from the oxodation-nitrolysis of TADBIW,contains about 5% MAPNIW. Sample Ⅲ,obtained from the nitrolysis of hexaacetylhexaazaisowurtzitane (HAIW) , contains MAPNIW and DATNIW.

The explosion induced by a uniform hot reactive gas pocket and its suppression by inert particles are discussed numerically m this paper. A numerical technique is developed to integrate the governing equations based on a non-steady two-phase reacting flow with very disparate characteristic time. It is shown that the transition process from combustion to explosion occurs only for a suitable initial temperature of the hot gas, neither very low nor very high, to establish a temperature gradient in cold reactive mixtures surrounding the hot gas. Only if the particle concentration is larger than a critical value, can the shock waves be suppressed completely. Otherwise it may become strong again after passing through the dusty flow or will propagate steadily inside it. Small and light particles have a stronger effect on explosion suppression than large and heavy ones.

I he results show that one of the equivalent background noise sources in second generation image intensifiers comes from the impurities K,Na,Cs and Pb existing on the elctrode surface of the MCP,and the impurity content attains 9. 69%. Pollution of alkali metal can be controlea by a heater that controls the flow field of alkali metal vapor when the photocathode is pre?pared. Determination of the bearings of sound source with the sound pressure gradient is a new method put forward by the authors. The method has system errors (determinate errors) and random errors. A method based on higher order spectra is proposed to reduce the random error when the in?terfering noise is u-aussian while the source signal is non-Gaussian. As a result of the non-sensitivity of higher order spectra to the Gaussian noise, the detrimental effects of interfering noise can be sup?pressed. simulation results show the effectiveness of the new method.

Bayesian assessment for product reliability using pass-fail data is discussed. Various in?formation during product design and improvement is appropriately considered by introducing factors of inheritance. Further, the inheritance factor is thought as a random variable, and posterior density function of product reliability is obtained. Results from simulation show that confidence lower limits of product reliability are too conservative according to classical methods using small binomial samples. Although traditional Bayesian analysis can consider test information from related or similar products, it ignores differences between such products. The methods proposed, in this paper consider not only the testing information from related products but also differences between such products,so the conclu?sion following them is reasonable.

Nanocrystalline SnO2 of different sizes were prepared by the reverse dropping precipita?tion method using ethynol as the dispersive and protective reagent. XRD patterns showed that the syn?thesized SnO2 was amorphous when calcination temperature was below 200°C; but when calcination temperature reached the range of 400 ?800 cC,the prepared SnO2 was nanocrystalline with single?phase ,and was tetragonal in structure with space group P4/mnm. TEM photos revealed that the SnO2 nanoparticles were spherical m shape, and the mean sizes of SnO2 particles increased with the in?crease of calcination temperature. Weight loss analysis indicated that the weight loss of precursor mainly depended on the calcination temperature, but little depended on the calcination time. Measure?ment of relative density showed that the relative density of SnO2 nanocrystalline powder increased with the increase in SnO2 crystal sizes.

According to the empirical electron theory (E. E. T. ) of solids and molecules,an electron structures parameter ——the uniform deformation factor α is proposed . Values of α have been calcu?lated by the valence electron structures for Ti-Al and Fe-Al systems. It is found that the value of α has a good correspondence with the ductility δ. The nature of embrittlement of intermetallics is thus explained, and an empirical embrittlement criterion induced.

This paper presents an analysis for the geometrical firing data (GFD) error in self-pro?pelled gun systems positioned by GPS. In general the observable vehicle and the gun system are positioned by GPS. As the measured target errors and the geometrical data errors are given, the function?al relationship between GFD and factors such as GPS positioning accuracy, range and angle for obser?vation and gun are determined. Some steps to lessen the errors of GFD are shown. The work suggests a direction in improving firing accuracy.

This paper proposes an neural network-based tracking controller for robot manipulators. In this scheme,a radial basis function neural network is used to approximate the unknown nonlinear dynamics of the robot manipulator and a compensator based on sliding moae control technique is de?signed to eliminate the effects of network approximation error and external disturbance. The weight adaptive laws based on Lyapunov analysis approach can ensure the convergence of the algorithm. The control scheme can guarantee the stability of closed-ioop system and the asymptotic convergence of tracking errors.

A computer simulation model for the power performance at the stable and transient working conditions for tracKlayers has been developed. It consists of a power device submodel and a transmission submodel, and can demonstrate the maximum speed, driving force, driving resistance, climb angle and various travel processes of the vehicle, cumulation calculations have been carried out for a tracklayer vehicle. The calculated results accord well with the measured values. The simulation method can be used conveniently for the study of power performance of tracklayers.

In this paper, the equations of artillery dynamics are formulated in a nonlinear FEM style. Some numerical methods for nonlinear equations are discussed. The Newmark method, being unconditionally stable,is considered to be the best one for the solution of these nonlinear equations, and a way for the determination of the time steps in the Newmark method is presented. Some prospects are finally given on the study of nonlinear FEM dynamic simulation for self-propelled guns.

When a high explosive projectile explodes, there occurs the distribution and propagation of two kinds of damage elements : fragmentation and shock wave. The damage done to critical compo?nents of the tanK is analyzed m tms paper. The damage model of a high explosive projectile to a tank is established. For the example of a high explosive projectile, damage done to a tank is calculated when the projectile explodes near the tank or hits it.

In connection with the low accuracy of parameters that is attained for laws of guidance in the passive underwater environment, an adaptive variable structure guidance law (AVSGL) for pas?sive torpedos is studied in this paper. Based on rigorous theoretical deduction and simulation results, it is seen that the guidance law is highly robust to noise and parameter disturbance. Simulation studies show that the AVSGL performs nigh guidance accuracy even though the target maneuvers. Further more,it is ready to implement and convenient for engineering applications.

Optimal guidance law for a torpedo impacting vertically on a maneuvering evader in three dimensions is studied. First ,the nonlinear model of intercept geometry is transformed into a fuzzy T-S linear model. Second, with the help of RH control technique and the adjoint technique, the vertical?ly impacting guidance law in 3-D is derived while the evader maneuvers. Results from simulation de?notes that high impacting precision,Doth cartesian and angular, can be attained by this guidance law.
