A jamming technique on for linear frequency modulated pulse; pulse compression radar was studied. An operational principle of jamming of interrupted-sampling and direct repeater based on digi?tal radio frequency memory was introduced, and its jamming effectiveness was analyzed. On the basis of the above mentioned jamming, a new jamming technology of interrupted-sampling and periodic re?peater was presented. The new jamming effectiveness was theoretically analyzed, and the effect ot key parameters on the jamming effectiveness was discussed emphatically. The new jamming can make the linear frequency modulated pulse radar obtain numerous lifelike false targets, of which number, ampli?tudes and positions can be adjusted or controlled by changing some parameters of the new jammer. The studied result shows that the new jamming has better effectiveness than that of the above mentioned jamming.

Fracture toughness and interfacial adhesive strength of coating on its substrate are the crucial parameters characterizing the performance and reliability of coating-substrate system. In this paper, a tensile experiment with acoustic emission signals inverse analysis and m situ observation of the cracking of the coating and interface was proposed to evaluate the fracture toughness and interfacial shear strength of the hard and brittle electroplated chromium coating on ductile steel substrate. The acoustic emission detector was attached to the specimen to check the signals of the cracking of chromium coat?ing or interface and whether the crack density became saturated or not. The experimental results show that the strong signals belonged to the periodic cracking of the chromium coating. A mechanical model can be used to determine the fracture toughness. When the crack density of chromium coating became saturated, the steel substrate exhibited plastic deformation; however, the interface cracking could not be observed. This indicates the yield shear flow stress of the substrate can be exerted along the inter?face through the ductile substrate undergoing plastic deformation, and the yield shear flow stress level of the ductile steel substrate can only serve as a lower bound estimate of the ultimate shear strength of the interface.

The opening process of creep-thermal fatigue crack was studied by using finite element method in consideration of the bilinear kinematic hardening and creep characteristic of a material. The crack is closed under the compressive stress during heating and insulating. Since the inelastic strain generated in the two processes can not recover by itself, the tensile stress appears in the anaphase of cooling-down process, which is normal to the crack surfaces and makes the crack gradually open. At this time, the temperature of material around the crack is lower than the creep temperature, and the crack opening is in the unloading process of the thermal stress; therefore the C parameter and /-inte?gral are not applicable to the creep-thermal fatigue crack. The stress intensity factor can be used as a control parameter under a small scale yielding condition. It can be shown from calculate that the stress intensity factor increases with the prolonged insulating time, raised maximum temperature and crack growth.

Quantitative evaluation and prediction of software reliability are the important parts of soft?ware reliability engineering. Support vector machine regression was applied to build up a software reli?ability prediction model based on the metrics of software quality, and the creditability theory based on Bayesian estimation was introduced into the field. By this means, the prediction result of software reli?ability model based on the metrics of software quality and the evaluation result of software reliability growth model based on iailure data were combined rationally via the credibility factor so that the exten?sive information about software reliability was utilized to obtain a more reasonable evaluation result of software reliability. According to variance disassemble and optimal linear non-homogeneous credibility estimator, the mathematic expression of this software reliability integrated evaluation model based on Bayesian estimation was described in detail, and the obtaining method of credibility factor was illus?trated by the practical example. The simulation experiment indicates that the moael possesses reason-ableness and feasibility.

A model reference adaptive iterative learning identification algorithm was proposed for a class of high order linear time-varying systems which are uniformly strongly stable, uniformly strongly con?trollable and repeatable in finite time interval. An iterative learning law for the time-varying parame?ters was deduced based on Lyapunov-like function. The algorithm can identny the unknown rapidly time-varying parameters, guarantee that the model tracking error can converge to zero uniformly with respect to the finite time interval when the number oi iteration tends to infinite and the estimated*pa?rameter error is bounded and convergent. The condition, by which the estimated parameters converge to their actual values, was analyzed. The effectiveness of the algorithm was demonstrated by simula?tion.

Taking aim at current domestic situation of the cartridge recognition technology and the criminal staff members' needs, an automatic cartridge identification system was designed. The system can capture cartridge trace images automatically, standardize the images by pre-processing, and store the standardized images in database. The images, which are most similar with the goal image, in the database were retrieved by using the retrieving method based on multiwavelet histogram. According to the retrieved image, the cartridge examiners could make further decision. The identification velocity and precision are greatly improved by the systematic functions of capturing, standardizing, storing and retrieving, which replace the overelaborate and time-consuming artificial way of contrasting one by one under microscope and checking.

A parallel operation control method based on a modulated phase tracKing method was de?signed for high reliability requirement of uninterrupted power supply used in gun command system. The method makes the output power value of every parallel module transform into the phase value of periodic pulse signal on the control communication line with phase modulation, then makes all modules track the lead module in modulation pulse phase, 1.e. the maximum output power module, to realize power-sharing. The current-sharing control precision was improved by the digital pulse phase-locking, the safety and the antijamming ability were improved by the digital signal compression, in which a cur-rent-sharing control was implemented through only one communication line. The experimental results show that the system has high current-sharing precision and good stability. It can switch the fault module automatically, realize the democratic master-slave logic with high control redundancy, and im?prove power supply reliability efficiently.

Traditional guidance law of underwater autoguide weapon had lots of defects, which was un?suitable for the tactical requirement of modern torpedoes. In this paper, a guidance law based on the sliding mode control theory was proposed for underwater autoguide weapon. In this guidance law, the increment of yaw angle was used rather than the angle velocity, which proved to be more suitable for the underwater environment. Simulation results show that the sliding mode guidance law gives an out?standing performance for the underwater target.

The Al-5.9Cu metal target was impacted by armor-piercing incendiary at different impact velocities. At velocity of 495 m/s, some parts of grain boundaries showed serrated heaves near the crater bottom, and two kinds of deformed bands were formed. The one looked like slip bands, the oth?er was paralleled to the direction of flow pattern. There were shear bands and tearing damages near the crater wall. Whirlpool-like shear bands and helical-like shear bands in the region around crater were produced by high velocity impact. Plenty of microbands near the craters were observed at the two dif?ferent velocities. A possible microband formation mechanism is proposed by extending the HNANG model. The model involves the spread of impact waves, the generation of polarized dislocation, the an?nihilation of dislocation in the middle oi the bands, the formation of secondary dislocation and so on.

In order to obtain the effect of carrier film on contact pressure distribution in the chemical- mechanical polishing(CMP) of silicon wafer, a mechanism model and a boundary equation were set up, then the contact pressure distribution was calculated and analyzed by use of finite element method, and the calculated result was verified by polishing experiments. At last the pressure distribution of con?tact surface between silicon wafer and polishing pad and the rule of that the physical parameters of car?rier film had an effect on pressure distribution were obtained, ana the most important relation between the non-uniformity of contact pressure distribution and the flatness error of silicon wafer in CMP was ensured. The result shows that the contact pressure distribution is non-uniform and the pressure in the outside borderline of silicon wafer is maximal, which leads to the flatness errors and collapse of silicon wafer. When Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio of carrier films are increased, the uniformity of contact pressure distribution can be improved, and the flatness topography in the available region of wafer surface become much better.
