Abstract: Dynamic stiffness is a crucial characteristic of vibration isolator. A method to calculate the dynamic stiffness of vibration isolator is proposed. The static stiffness is concluded from the experimental deformation-force curve. Dynamic stiffness is calculated by using single degree of freedom (SDOF) dynamic stiffness formula. An experiment is designed to verify the calculated results. Experimental results show that the deviation between calculated result and the experimental result is within 6%. The proposed method is effective and applicable for dynamic analysis of vibration isolators. Key
