The Simulation Analysis and Experiment Research of Turbine Aerodynamic Force

Abstract: A calculation method of turbine efficiency is proposed in order to study the influence of turbo inlet hose diameter, inlet gap and other factors on the turbine performance , as well as verify the difference between the simulated and test results.The aerodynamic characteristics of the flow field are simulated and analyzed with the help of simulation software. The results show that the simulated results are in agreement with the test results. The start-up transient flow field of impact-type turbine is relatively complex. Inlet angle is a key to affect the start-up efficiency of the turbine. The efficiency of the turbine can be improvedby reducing the gaps of turbine and selecting the throat diameter that matches with the flow.
