Abstract: The Ad-hoc network (MANET) regarded as a new mobile wireless network, its unique net?work properties add the difficulties and challenges to the network management. Recently, the networK management on MANET is still on the initial stage and more accurate standards are not defined. Therefore, a new clustering algorithm based on node location was proposed. It specially supplies the quadrant partition, moderate merging, re-splitting merging, the efficient guest protocols as well as the message driven method to improve the initial algorithm depending on the GPS service, the node densi?ty adjustment and the guest protocol ignoring the management efficiency as well. The new strategy adds the flexibility and the scalability and suggests a new idea to the network management of MANET.
