Abstract: The matched filter output of noise frequency modulated continuous wave (NFMCW) has the random sidelobes which are presented as a uniform noise floor. The mathematical expressions of peak sidelobe ratio (PSLR) and integrated sidelobe ratio (ISLR) of NFMCW with Gaussian power spectral density are derived via the statistical regularities of the sidelobes. The results indicate that PSLR depends on correlation time length, signal effective modulation bandwidth and Doppler frequency. ISLR depends on correlation time length and Doppler frequency, and the signal effective modulation bandwidth is irrelevant. The Monte-Carlo experimental results are consistent with the derived results.
