Abstract: For a problem of that the traditional test periodicity design does not take the impact of equipment health state and availability constraints on periodicity decision into account, a test periodicity optimization model for equipment health management was presented. Control limit maintenance policy was provided based on an equipment health state degradation model. Then, a nonlinear tradeoff optimization model was established, which takes cost per unit time in renewal cycle as optimization object, equipment operational availability as constraint and test periodicity as decision variable. The test periodicity was optimized based on renewal process. The simulation results show that the proposed model can be used to guide the test periodicity optimization design and is of certain engineering application value.
