Abstract: The precision of time-delay estimation is the key factor for the performance of the acoustic positioning system based on the buoy platform, when locating the target with its seeking signal. In the nonantagonistic condition, the method of separating group and opening window can measure time-delay of the direct pulse accurately and then get the position of target. But in the environment of antagonistic warfare, the traditional method will only obtain low-grade precision or even become inefficacious due to the existence of the simulated signals sent by the enemy equipment. To solve this problem, a novel method is proposed here, which is based on the matching of time-delay and the Doppler of the signal. This method can distinguish the direct pulse of target’s seeking signal from the simulated disturbance. Through theoretical analysis and computer simulation, this method is proved to be effective and feasible.
