Abstract: Medium and large caliber advanced impact efficiency and destruction(AHEAD) projectiles have the advantages of good ballistic performance and large barrage spreading area. However, the density of fragments at various points in the inner space of vertebral body is different. The number of damage elements that are hit when the UAV is located at each point in the vertebral space was analyzed through experiment. The experimental results show that the number of damage elements in the vertebral area of the seven bursts of fire at 350 m away from the opening point can meet the damage requirements. This result can provide data reference and basis for the demand for resisting saturation attacks and destroying multiple aerial targets at the same time by a single artillery.
