A multi-objective optimization model of multi-rocket launch system (MRLS) composite material direction pipe was established for the structure design requirements by using non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ), on the basis of finite element analysis method and optimization method. The composite material direction pipe's ply thickness, lamination angle and middle location value were defined as design variables. The direction pipe’s natural frequency and mass were regarded as optimization objectives. The Pareto-optimal solution set of the direction pipe was obtained, and then the decision matrix was constructed by the set. The objective weight information entropy approach was adopted to calculate the weights of attributes, also the multi-attribute decision making (MADM) was applied to rank the Pareto-optimal solutions and determine the best solution based on the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method. Comparisons of the direction pipe's properties by specific stiffness structural efficiency show that the optimization design is effective.

Analog circuits, digital circuits and digital-analog hybrid circuit small-signal circuit computer simulation technology is now mature, but the high power circuit's computer simulation technology must consummate. When the high-power device is active, the power device will generate heat. The small signal circuit's computer simulation technology still could not simulate the high power electric circuit's active status. The power stages of semiconductor laser driver mostly are high power circuit, the establishment of power devices can describe the working state of the PSPICE simulation software model is one of the problems that must be solved. A metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) model, including thermal model, was established according to the structure, operating principle and self-consumption of power device. The computer simulation of semiconductor laser driving source was conducted by using this model. The model was verified by a practicable system. This model is also suited for the computer simulation of other high power circuits.

An optical measuring method was proposed to survey the sight line alteration and the range elevation of the IR aiming sight. The reflection type collimator with a parabolic reflector was used to simulate an infinitely far target. The light turning and auto-reading were implemented by using the reflector and two-dimension precise turntable table. The primary principle of the measurement method and error analysis of the sight line alteration are given in this paper. The test results indicate that the method can measure in ±10° large field of view and have 0.05 mil angle accuracy. The test range limitation because of the parabolic reflector field of view is overcome perfectly while keeping high accuracy.

The transfer matrix method was used to analyze the suppression effect of photonic crystals on atmospheric window band emission. Several combinations of substrates and photonic crystals and suppression effects of their spontaneous radiation were discussed. It is found that, when the photonic crystals are made of media of Si and KCl with high and low refractivities, and the substrates are Al, SiC and imaginary surface at 100 ℃ respectively, all the surface emissions are suppressed well in the ranges of 3~5 μm and 8~14 μm. For the same substrate, it can suppress the emissions better, if Ge and KCl are chosen as the composition materials of photonic crystals.

Aimed at the detection of infrared dim target in background interference and noise, a detection method was proposed on the basis of dual-tree complex wavelet transform and independent component analysis(ICA). Firstly, the original image was denoised by using the dual-tree complex wavelet transform, and the background was suppressed by using Top-hat operator. The background image separated from the original image by fast independent component analysis (FastICA) was subtracted from the original image, and the residual image was denoised by using the dual-tree complex wavelet transform. The sum of the above-mentioned two resultant images gave the preprocessed image. Secondly, the preprocessed image was segmented by using the threshold selected by fuzzy Tsallis-Havrda-Charvat entropy. Lots of experiments were carried out with infrared images including small targets and a comparison was made with the detection method based on the fast independent component analysis and the detection method based on a morphological filter. The experimental results show that the proposed method in this paper is stronger in anti-noise performance and more superior in detection performance.

For the requirements of the target scoring in the maritime live practice, the distance missing the target should be measured. A new visual ranging method based on a binocular omni-directional vision sensor (ODVS) is presented in this paper. It consists of two ODVSs with the same parameters in back-to-back manner. Then, a new fast feature points matching and distance measuring algorithms is proposed by using Gaussian coordinates in the video data capturing, processing and presentation. The experiment results show that the binocular ODVS proposed in this paper can accurately measure the target point in three-dimensional space.

For the measurement of localization parameters in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), a simple standard round bar measurement tool was designed, and a fast localization method based on the bar was proposed. The method should capture four projection images of the round bar tool in four positions of the CBCT imaging region, and then by using the imaging features of the tool in the CBCT system, five localization parameters influencing the image quality of the slice would be found out fastly. The experimental results show that the method can obtain the localization parameters with sub-pixel precision in few minutes, and the image quality of the slice reconstructed by the parameters has been improved obviously.

An aluminum alloy pontoon hull structure filled with flexible polyurethane foam was designed to overcome the disadvantages of steel hollow pontoon hull. Load-carrying capacity of hollow and polyurethane foam-filled hulls under centered wheel load was analyzed with FEM program ANSYS. The influence of the web and diaphragm thicknesses and the foam density on the load-carrying capacity was investigated. The results show that the aluminum alloy pontoon hull has a considerable post-buckling load-carrying capacity and its ultimate load-carring capacity depends on the strength of the material. When the thicknesses of the diaphragm and web exceeds their critical values, the load-carrying capacity of the hull mainly depends on the deck, and the increase in the thicknesses of the diaphragm and web is not effective to improve the load-carrying capacity. Low density foam is favorable to the foam-filled pontoon hull, and the influence of the foam on the load-carrying capacity is negligible.

The undulate fin in median and/or paired fin(MPF) mode has excellent swimming characters, which are affected by its structure and wave parameters. The coupling relationship among the wave parameters is discussed by using the kinetic model of the hydraulic-driven bionic thruster. A simulation model of the bionic thruster is built in Matlab to analyze the effect of the hydraulic parameters on the wave parameters of the undulate fin, and then a method to avoid coupling effects among wave parameters is given out. The changes of wave parameters in the starting and stopping processes are studied. Some experiments for the bionic thruster are carried out to test its performance. The analysis on the kinetic characteristics of the bionic thruster will be helpful to realize the undulate fin propulsion and optimize its performances.

In order to implement equipment software quality evaluation objectively and effectively in equipment supplier departments, a new method based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and elimination et choice translating reality (ELECTRE) was proposed. The AHP method was improved with no need to verify the consistency to determine weight values of indexes and eliminate the blindness in adjusting judgment matrix artificially. An united dominance matrix was defined in ELECTRE method to obtain the outranking relations among evaluated objects. Searched the outranking relation figure, the orders of these objects were determined. An example for actual equipment software evaluation was given. The results show that the proposed method, compared with conventional evaluation, is more objective and can reflect the software quality more actually, thus, it overcomes the defect that some high indexes cover others with lower values.

To meet the precision requirement of aluminum MIG welding under magnetic field, the influences of process parameters on the geometry of bead and surface morphologies were studied and the reasonable match of process parameters was analyzed. The results show that the welding speed plays a decisive role to reinforcement and its contribution rate reaches up to 83.25%. The other factors' descending order of contribution rate for bead width is wire feed speed, welding speed, arc blowout correction, exciting current, frequency of magnetic field and arc length correction. With the increase of exciting current, the bead width increases and the depth decreases, and the surface morphologies quality is improved. But, the exciting current and arc correction have to match better. When these two parameters are all too large, the weld defects of incomplete fusion appear or the bead can not be formed.

This paper describes an approach to optimize the layout of sensors used for gearbox fault detection based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. The fitness function is established to solve the optimal problem by using PSO after analysis on the modal assurance criterion(MAC) for optimal layout of acceleration sensors. According to the finite element model and modal analysis of gearbox, the PSO with dynamic accelerating constants (CPSO) is applied to implement optimization and localization of sensors. The modal and frequency response analyses show that the method is feasible. The precision of fault diagnosis with six optimal sensors increases by 26.1%.

As a lightweight material, the magnesium alloy can be applied to automobile parts to reduce weight effectively. But, its extruded section bars are rarely used in automobile part design. These section bars are bended several times to form the car's seat back frame. The bending process is simulated by Dynaform to obtain the feasible bending radius. The dynamic luggage keeping simulation shows that the new seat back frame can be subjected to the dynamic impact of luggage.
