Analysis of Pressure Drop Characteristics of Deflation System. Under Low Atmospheric Pressure Environment

Abstract: For guiding structural design of a deflation system, a formula used for predicating the inner pressure variation of an open-type deflation system under low atmospheric pressure environment was put forward. A corrective coefficient of the formula was derived for a deflation container with long tube based on experimental results. The comparison between the experimental results and the theoretical calculations shows that the theoretical formula is accurate. In addition, combining the theoretical for?mula with multi-dimension computational fluid dynamics(しFD) simulation of a discharge process of the deflation system may simplify CFD computational process and save computational time.
