硬质合金刀具铣削高强度钢的磨损机理研究

Wear Mechanism of Cemented Carbide Insert in Milling of High-strength Steel

摘要: 某牌号高强度钢是一种难加工材料。选用添加钽、铌的硬质合金铣刀对该材料进行了端面铣削试验,给出了不同铣削用量下,刀具的磨损耐用度和前刀面上铣削温度的分布范围。在此基础上,利用扫描电子显微镜研究了刀具的磨损特征和机理。研究结果表明:后刀面粘结层的撕裂加剧了硬质相的扩散磨损;受铣削温度分布的影响,前刀面磨损形态表现为较宽的月牙洼;沿切屑流出方向,月牙洼的深度与氧化及扩散磨损的程度相应增加。

Abstract: A certain high-strength steel is a kind of difficult-to-cut material. End face milling experiment was carried out on the material by using cemented carbide inserts added TaC, NbC. Cutting tool life and distribution range of milling temperature on the rake face were obtained under different cutting rates. Wear characteristic and mechanism of the insert were also studied with the aid of scanning electron microscope(SEM). The results show that the diffusion wear of hard phase is intensified after the tear and shear of the adhering layer on the flank. The wear form on the rake face is characterized, as broad crater, which is directly influenced by the distri?bution of milling temperature. Furthermore, the depth of the crater as well as the degree of oxidation and diffu?sion wear increase along the direction of the chip flow-out.
