等离子喷涂过程中飞行颗粒熔化状态的数值仿真

摘要: 利用数值仿真方法,针对2r02陶瓷颗粒,分析讨论了等离子喷涂过程中飞行颗粒的表面温度变化过程,以及不同直径颗粒内部的受热状态、温度梯度变化以及相变过程。并在此基础上,进一步对喷涂距离进行了分析,确定了在何种情况下,才能达到理想的喷涂效果。研究方法与结果对于实际的喷涂工艺生产具有指导意义。

Abstract: Melted state of flying ZrO2 ceramic particles in plasma spray has been investigated in this paper by em?ploying numerical simulation methods. Calculations are carried out for two kinds of single particle with diameters of 30 μm injected in typical piasma spraying conditions. Surface temperature histories of the flying particles, in?ner thermal state, temperature gradient as well as phase change of the particles of various sizes during their flight are successfully predicted. Based on these results, the spraying distance is discussed also, which can be classified into three regions, such as no melted, partially melted and completely melted zones. Only if the particles enter into completely melted zone, it is possible to form dense and idea coatings. These methods and results will bring insight into the practical thermal spray operations.
