摘要: 在人脸检测的智能视频监控系统的背景下,提出了一种基于多源信息融合技术和人脸结构知识的多人脸快速自动检测算法。该算法综合了图像中的运动和肢色信息,并利用相关的先 验知识得到人脸候选区域。提出了一种筒单、快速的区域分割算法:中点导引生长算法,该算法可以有效地将候选人脸区域用矩形分割表示;最后对每ー个候选区域根据人脸形状信息和特征进行 验证。实验证明该算法检测速度快、效率高,是ー种建立实时视频监控系统的实用方法,可以作为人脸跟踪研究的基础。

Abstract: A fast approach of face detection for video surveillance was proposed. A symmetrical frame difference was used to acquire tne motion area. A simple and fast segmentation algorithm, 1.e. mid?point-guiaed growing, was developed to search the skin-like pixels and segment the face-like regions. The distribution information of shape and feature in each face-like region was examined and those re?gions satisfying with the knowledge of a human face were located and marked. The experimental re?sults show that the accuracy and processing speed are very promising. The approach can be used to de?tect multiple faces with different poses and sizes. It is a practical method for developing visual surveil?lance system and can be used as a start point for face tracking research.
