结合爆炸事故验证模型的有效性;基于冲击波峰值超压准则和Axelsson损伤模型判别6个工况下人员伤情等级
发现仅在TNT当量1500g、爆距4m时人员有轻伤风险。基于皮肤、骨骼、心肺的动态响应细致分析人员各组织器官的损伤类型
揭示了人员轻伤时的损伤模式及爆炸冲击波的致伤机理
研究结果可为爆炸致伤人员损伤评估的研究及相关防护装备的设计提供参考。
In order to obtain the mechanism of chest injury under explosion shock waves
a high fidelity digital dummy model (total human model for safety
THUMS) was used to construct a numerical model of the human-explosion flow field using the Load_Blast_Enhanced method and the arbitrary Lagrange-Euler (ALE) method. The damage to the human chest under explosion shock waves was numerically calculated
and the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by an explosion accident. Based on the peak overpressure criterion of shock waves and the Axelsson damage model
it was found that personnel injury levels were only at risk of minor injuries when TNT equivalent was 1500g and explosion distance was 4m. Based on the dynamic response of skin
bones
heart and lungs
a detailed analysis of the types of injuries to various tissues and organs of personnel was conducted
revealing the injury patterns and mechanisms of explosion shock waves during minor injuries. The research results can provide reference for the assessment of injuries caused by explosions and the design of related protective equipment.

Despite decades of animal experiments, data on blast injury to the lung cover only a limited number of circumstances and are in a fragmented form. This paper develops a mathematical model of the chest wall dynamics and the subsequent generation of strong pressure waves within the lung, which have been hypothesized as the mediator of injury. The model has been compared to an extensive database of observed pathologies from animal tests. The incidence of injury and lethality is found to follow a log-normal correlation with the computed total energy in these waves and, when the energy is normalized by the lung volume, the lethality correlation applies to all large animal species. Small animals also correlate with the normalized energy, but at a different value, and it is speculated that structural differences, other than lung volume, may be involved. This relatively simple model allows the potential for blast injury to the lung to be determined from measured or computed pressure traces without additional animal testing. Improved occupational exposure criteria should follow from this methodology.

The response of beagles to shock wave and bubble pulsation loadings is observed. Air containing organs such as lung and auditory apparatus suffer the most from the shock wave, bubble pulsation, negative pressure and other loads. Whether the head is above the water or not, the brain will be injured to some extent. Under the same underwater blast loading, the damage radius for a beagle in diving position is approximately 2.5 times that of one in swimming position. From experiments, the injury modes and thresholds for beagles under underwater blast are concluded, which can be used to predict and treat underwater shock injuries.

DOI: S0021-9290(17)30544-4 http://doi.org/S0021-9290(17)30544-4 To better protect soldiers from blast threat, that principally affect air-filled organs such a lung, it is necessary to develop an adapted injury criterion and, prior to this, to evaluate the response of a biological model against that threat. The objective of this study is to provide some robust data to quantify the chest response of post-mortem swine under blast loadings. 7 post-mortem swine (54.5 ± 2.6 kg), placed side-on to the threat and against the ground, were exposed to 5 shock-waves of increasing intensities. Their thorax were instrumented with a piezo-resistive pressure sensor, an accelerometer directly exposed to the shock-wave and a target was mounted on the latter in order to track the chest wall displacement. For incident impulses ranging from 47 kPa ms±2% to 173 kPa ms ±6%, the measured maximum of linear chest wall acceleration (Γmax) goes from 5800 m/s ±16% to 41,000 m/s ± 8%, with a duration of 0.8 ms. Chest wall displacements ranging from 5 mm ± 20% to 20 mm ± 15%, with a duration of 9 ms, are reached. These reproducible data were used to find simple relations (linear, 2nd and 3rd order polynomials) between the kinematic parameters (plus the viscous criterion) and the incident and reflected impulses. Correlating the new reproducible data with the prediction from the Bowen curves showed a lung injury threshold in terms of Γmax similar to that of Cooper (10,000 m/s). However, the limits defined for the viscous criterion in the automobile field and for non-lethal weapons seems not adapted for the blast threat.Copyright © 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
