Abstract:

This paper presents a finite element program for static analysis of a shell and beam combination structure with the finite element method. The formulas used are described in the peper. A partioning solution based on the internal storage is adopted for the large linear equations generated from more complicated structure. By using this program，calculation of an example releting the pure shell problem is carried out， the results of which are in conformity with the analytical solution. Computation of the combination structure and the comparative test can meet the requirements for engineering computation accuracy.
